"An equal world is an enabled world"

The ladies of Samoa Audit Office (SAO) celebrated the International Women's Day (IWD), by joining in morning prayer and breakfast while dressed in flower crowns.

This event is celebrated worldwide on March 8^th with the theme to promote equal rights and opportunities for women. It seeks to draw attention to the idea that gender inequality isn’t a women’s issue, but an economic one – as gender equality is essential for economies and communities to thrive. It is a day to celebrate the achievements of women in the social, economic, political and cultural aspects of the world today. On average, about 66% of SAO staff are women, signifying the continued strive of women in employment for businesses.
