The new Controller and Auditor General, Fa'amoetauloa Fasavalu To'oto'ovao Ah Siu Lin was officially sworn in this morning.

Faamoetauloa first joined the Samoa Audit Office in 2010, marking 16 years of dedicated professional service and commitment to the Office. He holds multiple degrees in COMMERCE and LAW from the University of the South Pacific, along with Chartered Accountant (CA) and Certified Fraud Examiner (CFE) certifications, and he was the recipient of the Telefoni Retzlaff Memorial Prize for the top Samoan law student this year 2026. Over the years, he has grown within the Office and contributed at every level, including executive management, building a strong record of experience and hard work.

The Samoa Audit Office extends its sincere appreciation to Fuimaono Camillo Afele for his long-standing service, dedication, and leadership over the past decade and a half. We warmly welcome the new Controller and Auditor General as he takes up this important national responsibility.
