The Samoa Audit Office is proud to have contributed to the recent IDI-OECD-PASAI workshop, held from May 20–22, 2026, in Nadi, Fiji. Our office was represented at this workshop by our Legal Director, Faamoetauloa Ahsiu Lin, who engaged with regional leaders and international partners to advance the critical role of Supreme Audit Institutions in promoting good governance. This collaborative forum provided a platform to address essential strategies for safeguarding institutional independence, bolstering transparency, and enhancing the accountability frameworks that serve our nation and the wider Pacific community.

We extend our sincere gratitude to the INTOSAI Development Initiative (IDI), the OECD, and the PASAI Secretariat for their leadership in facilitating these vital discussions. Our thanks also go to all fellow participants and stakeholders whose shared commitment to institutional resilience continues to drive progress toward a more transparent and accountable Pacific region.
