Samoa Public Service Day, celebrated on 30th September 2022 recognises the value and contribution of public service to Samoa.

The first Public Service Day was held in 2012. Samoa Audit Office (SAO) joined the Samoa Public Service Day Program held in-front of the Government building with the theme "Spirit of Service". It is an opportunity for all Government Agencies to raise awareness of their contribution to the development of Samoa and make known their role in the achievement of national development goals. 

The contribution of Samoa Audit Office is through ensuring financial integrity of the Parliament system of Government as per our Constitutional Duty and Mandate as well as to provide independent and professional audit services to all public sector entities in Samoa and report on its findings.

As part of recognizing auditors contribution to the public service, SAO conducted an in-house training for the staff to commemorate this special day.
