The Samoa Audit Office engages private consultancies and accounting firms such as Lesa ma Penn which allowed for the participation of members of the public in promoting Government accountability without compromising SAO’s independence. Lesa ma Penn has assisted SAO by auditing several public bodies and aid funded Government projects.
