The whole of Government were tasked to clean up the Games Venue at Tuanaimato on the 29th of June 2019 in preparation to host the sixteenth edition of the Pacific Games from 7th to 20th July 2019.

The Samoa Audit Office gathered as early as 6am at the Cricket Fields Tuanaimato to support the clean up campaign to clear rubbish, debris, grass and alleys. Other Ministries and Corporations were assigned other areas of the Games Venue. This is efforts to promote a greener environment and encourage communities to keep our streets litter free. It is important that cleanliness is maintained and the public should continue to be good citizens by helping keep Samoa clean.

Samoa will host more than 4,000 athletes and officials from 24 countries competing in 27 sports in the upcoming Pacific Games. These games will bring the Pacific Games back to Samoa since successfully hosting in 2007. Get behind our Team Samoa and support them in blue.
